Harbour Commissioners Office, Padstow
Commercial Building Control Package
We are delighted to be working on a project in Padstow.
Padstow Harbour Commissioners are extending and refurbishing their Harbour Office.
The project will involve removing the existing hipped roof and adding additional offices and meeting space on the 1st floor to both update the existing facility and allow them to extend their operations as they grow within the Padstow Harbour Authority.
Natural and sustainable materials have been chosen that will link to the industrial past of both Padstow and, more broadly, Cornwall. They have also endeavoured, where possible, to employ the skills of local suppliers, contractors and consultants who have a desire to deliver a more modern and fitting building for the team to operate from.
The aim is to complete the extension towards the middle of next year, Form have been involved at each stage of the project from initial site visits, ground investigations and the engineering design process.
We are now supporting through the construction phase and excited to see the final results with an ice cream!
How can Form help?
Whether you will need a structural engineer for your next renovation project will depend on the nature of your plans, but they are often required for solar panel installation, beam calculations, loft conversions, door and window modification, internal wall changes, underpinning, and chimney removal. Essentially, any project that alters the structure of the building or requires building control approval will require the expertise of a structural engineer.
Contact Form and we can help advise you on your project.
