Form were instructed to undertake the Structural Engineering Services for this exciting project near Truro.
Following the architects brief we gained an understanding that the existing property would be demolished and a new two storey replacement dwelling, associated annex and new double garage developed. The proposed plans also detailed a glazed link within the house itself and joining the house to the garage and annex. Externally designs were also required for a large retaining wall in the garden to facilitate the proposed floor levels.
Our services included the delivery of a full set of calculations for all structural elements and provide a suitable calculation report for Building Control. We were also required to produce full structural engineering general arrangement plans and details for the works.
